The core mission of Dr Chhang’s Super Specialty Hospital Pvt. Ltd, is to provide affordable, non – discriminatory, effective health –care to the people for last fifteen years. This hospital is one of the few hospitals in Darjeeling district that provides health care to the people from local communities, neighboring states and countries and has a reputation for its care.
By initiating Novena Schools of Nursing, we want to pay part in the community bridging gap between the nursing workforce supply and demand.
During COVID pandemic we joined hands with the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal with handful of healthcare providers. During the Covid crises we could feel acute shortage of Nursing staffs.
In the year 2022, we resolved in our Board Meeting and initiated the B.Sc. Nursing Program in addition to GNM program in Novena School of Nursing, a unit of Dr. Chhang’s Super Specialty Hospital Pvt Ltd, to be introduced to provide quality services in health care practices by more skilled B.Sc. qualified nurses. In order to fulfill required physical facility for B.sc. Nursing program, A Separate four storied building under construction is designated for running GNM and B.Sc. Nursing Program.
I do extend my thanks to all the doctors and nursing staffs for their valuable contribution in providing health care services to our community. I am also grateful and thankful to all the teaching staffs of Novena School of Nursing for sharing their knowledge to train the nursing students.
