B.Sc. Nursing Diploma in GNM in Novena College & School of Nursing Siliguri

We provide B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years Course) & Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM-3 Years Course) to our students for making an effective member of the health team. Throughout the course, we closely train students to make them a perfect nursing professional. As we are affiliated to West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC), we follow their patterns for B.Sc. Nursing & Diploma in GNM. Students will be taught different ways of monitoring the health condition of patients and techniques to assist the doctors during the time of the surgical procedure. The eligibility criteria for B.Sc. Nursing course are 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (all together) and English separately.

The eligibility criteria for GNM Nursing course are 10+2 passed with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for recognized candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government However, Science is preferable.

  • Professionalism, Professional Values and Ethics including Bioethics

4th Semester

  • Adult Health Nursing II including Geriatric Nursing with Health Assessment Module

5th Semester

  • Child Health Nursing I including FBNC, Essential Newborn Care(ENBC), IMNCI and PLS/PALS, modules
