Nurses provide primitive, preventive & curative health services in community and curative, rehabilitative care in different levels of hospitals , Polyclinics and nursing homes in both public and private sector. Nurse educators play their role as guide & mentor in transformation of a novice nursing students into a knowledgeable, skilled, competent and confident professional nurses. Nurses’ contribution in fighting against covid-19 pandemic in 2020-21 saving lives of innumerable people is a must worth mentioning.
Different studies cites development in medical technologies contribute to increase in average life expectancy subsequently rise in older adults population and population growth in developing countries resulting in need of longer term, regular, comprehensive health care which ultimately end up with demand for increased number of Nurses. Increasing number of ageing population, advancement in technology and its use in health care services opened up diverse career opportunities in Nursing. Not only career opportunities it also guarantee job after completion of Nursing courses.
Keeping in view of rising demand of experienced and qualified nurses in India and abroad. Novena School of Nursing started GNM Training in 2019. First batch students passed out with 92% success rate in December 2022. The Management and faculty believe in imparting Knowledge and skilled based quality nursing education using modern techniques as per changing need of the society. Adding to its commitment in preparing knowledgeable, competent, and confident nurses Novena is expanding its horizon from Novena school to Novena College of Nursing for aspiring students eager to pursue B. Sc. Nursing Program from the session 2023.

To keep the students up to date with knowledge and skills Novena College and School of Nursing has well furnished well ventilated large, spacious class rooms with LCD Projectors in each. And also have well equipped labs with sufficient number of manikins and dummies, models and charts and audio visual Aids in different Laboratory including Computer Lab & Library with good number of new edition books & journals.
